Online Casino Money Management Systems

Martingale System

Unlike systems such as the 1-3-2-6 and Parlay system, this system is a negative progression system. Many online casino gamblers refer to it as the Double-Up system.

Like the Parlay system, this one has been around for a very long time. It is based on the foundation of losing an immeasurable amount of times consecutively. This system is frequently used on even money wagers (1 to 1 odds).

Here is an example of how you could use the Martingale system.  You will start out with one wager - if you win the first wager, start again with one wager. Now, if you lose you will double the last wager that you just lost. By doing this, you are bound to eventually win. Then, when you do win you get all your lost wagers back - plus one unit (against your original wager).

The thought process behind this negative progression system is that it a sure thing. But, to use it  you will need lots of money on hand to wager with until you do come out on top. Even then, the return is pretty low. Knowing that, most online casino players feel that this system is loaded with risk. Because most casinos post maximum wager limits, you may reach the house limit and run out of money before you can get to recover your loses.
